Full steam ahead! The Light Express is leaving the station because there’s a world to reach! Through music, drama, and hands-on Bible lessons, children will journey across the globe, discover God’s heart for the nations, and learn how they can shine the light of the gospel wherever He sends them.
The Light Express is a Christ-centered, high-energy VBS where children don’t just hear about the mission field. They step into it! Each song and story reinforces biblical truth and helps children apply God’s Word to their lives. Along the way, they’ll experience:
A MET VBS is more than a curriculum. Over the past 30+ years, we have led more than 285 weeks of VBS, developing an approach that combines biblical teaching with music, drama, and engaging visual and hands-on experiences.
Each MET VBS is modeled after Luke 2:52 and incorporates a variety of teaching methods that engage children with Scripture in ways they can understand and remember.
Custom sets and lighting, costumed characters, original dramas and music sweep children into an experience where biblical truth comes to life.
We partner with local churches to connect with families, create opportunities for church members to serve, and reach children with the gospel.
We are a faith-based ministry dedicated to helping people find hope and encouragement through powerful gospel presentations, inspiring music, and valuable resources. The Merrill Evangelistic Team (MET) is led by Evangelist Randy Merrill, who has been traveling in ministry full time with his family since 1992.
